Have you ever

Has anyone had a problem with having the fuel bowl cap leaks from over pressure. Over the weekend I had a fuel leak on the fuel bowl cap the threads, the threads on the cap stripped so the cap jumped threads under pressure and blew fuel all over.

Only time Ive had the cap leak is when installing a new filter I didnt pay attention to the oring and it didnt seat properly and when I started my truck fuel sprayed all over.

When I first got my truck the cap was cross threaded. Fortunately I changed it right away. Then I went over everything else I could think of looking for more problems.
