Anyone know if the 17 fuel caps the same as 16 I'm looking for a locking one for my 17 f450

 

Yes they are interchangeable. Took my locking cap off my 16 and put it on my 17 work trucks.

 

Yes the same and I put one on mine it is a stat. Not sure what the # is but got it from amazon for about $11.

Yes, the Stant model up in this post is correct. Got mine from Amazon too. One thing though, the stock tether doesn't stay on so your going to have to just sit it on the bed rail. Would be nice if the tether that you hang off the door still worked. The tether will fit on the cap but it slides off too.

Gents -- Here is a picture of the Latest Stant Application guide -- it shows that in 2008 they switched to the Stant 10510D on the 6.4 and later the 6.7 Diesel Engines....The 10501D was a 1995-2007 cap...

 

Is the Stant 10501D just for F450? If so, does anyone know if Stant (or anyone else) makes a locking fuel cap for a 2017 F350 6.7L?

 

Yes this locking cap works on the F350. I have it on my truck.

 

Works fine, comes with two keys.

A little bit off subject but has anyone found a locking DEF cap for our 2017 trucks?

 

Have not been able to find a locking DEF Cap anywhere and it appears everyone who tries the ones on Amazon returns them as they don't fit.
