99 6speed question
I am new to the forum and today I bought a 99 F250 PS with the 6 speed trans. And my question is how much of a job is it to change the 2nd gear syncro and OD gear syncro? 2nd gear grinds when shifting unless you let everything slow way down. OD grinds only when going up through the gears no matter what. BUT when I go right back into 4th then straight back into OD it does NOT grind. I was curious if you fellas could help a fellow ford man out. I got a super awesome deal on this truck. and everything but that is wrong with it. The good thing is they are too bad because they do not pop out of gear. So i was curious if you guys had any insight on this issue I have and possibly where would be the best place to get the parts from to fix everything.
