Not impaired just bored. Watched a video on coating parts & I had a spray can in basement that I use to waterproof my RC cars. My sons & I rc various radio control car year around. Still have not had time to upgrade all lights to HID but maybe Sunday. Nice thing about Plastidip is that it peels right off with no marks.

Pulled my FICM and boxed it up to send to Ed.
Thanks FTE ! No problem working with the Air-intake parts in place either.
Piece of cake:
* Disconnected both neg battery terminals
* drained 1 GAL
* removed degas bottle, used a long screw driver to prop up the coolant hose so it wouldn't drip

* removed screws/plates on top of the FICM (f & r)
* reached under (left handed) and removed the connectors.

BTW - There is a flat plate on the rear of the FICM under the screws that falls to the ground once you pull the last back-side screw.

I'm going with the premium repair w/upgraded parts and 2 year warranty - ($325) and atlas40 ficm-programming ($150).

The cab is held up by a 2.5 ton winch and a big gambrel we made from boxed steel and round stock. It quickly bent a huge torsion bar I started to use but my father in law stepped in with his 50 years doing body work and fabrication and got it fixed up the way he always does it.

I love the color of our trucks, and gosh dang it, I actually like this truck but after this we are strongly considering trading it and going a different direction I would like to stay with Ford but this experience has me shaken a little.

Ran her through the car wash today as she was a little muddy from yesterdays trip to Crown, MN to watch truck mud runs. It was a great time & my first ever to watch trucks in the mud + snowmobile water skips. I have done plenty of skippin' myself but it is always fun to watch. Videos to come + there was a 1,000hp alcohol truck that was plain insane to watch go over the mud. Below are a couple quick iphone pics. My videos will be using my camera & not my iphone.

No need to drain coolant or completely remove the degas. Just unbolt the two screws then pull and rotate the degas down and out of the way.

Rotella T, Motorcraft filter, and the second treatment of Hotshot's Secret for pm. I didn't have a problem, and don't want any. I also dumped in a bottle of their fuel treatment. Both are sold at Tractor Supply along with Rotella T for almost a one stop shop.

Found out I'm a dumbazz that needs the sign. I took off my secondary trans filter and realized I put the spring magnet assembly on top of the filter thus rendering it useless for 29k
