Taking my 06 6.0 for our first trip hauling our new 20 ft had 1/2 ton and pop up for years but when we went up in size decided to use the excuse to get a diesel! My question is if you don't mind what is a general list of pm for a long haul.. Seems to me you got some experience . Lol

No problem joe,

Truck:
1. complete fluid check
2. make sure OIL & all Filter's are fresh
3. check/adjust Tire PSI
4. inspect Brake's
5. rotate Tire's
6. torgue lug nut's to proper spec after brake inspection & tire rotation
7. check to make sure ALL lights are working

Camper (first trip of year):
1. check/clean electric brake's
2. repack wheel bearings
3. rotate tire's & torque Lug Nuts
4. sanitize water system

Camper (always):
1. Tire PSI
2. Lug nut Torque (recheck at destination)
3. make sure all Lights are working
4. check Appliances for proper operation
5. check Propane Tanks & Battery
6. Cleaned up & packed with whatever u need

*Also remember to inspect your Hitch & test your electric Brake's
**I also bring some extra Fluids & a 5 gal can of Diesel
***Make sure u have what u need to change a Flat Tire
Hopefully i didn't forget anything

Washed, cleaned windows (lots of rottweiler spit, why do they like licking the windows).

Tightend up clamps on coolant filter. Going to pick up a blue spring kit tomorrow. Probably put that in Wednesday or Thursday.

Saturday, I put a new E Brake backing plate, and rebuilt the parking brake on the P-side. (The drivers side was done 2 yrs ago).
Yesterday I put a new lower Alternator and belt on.
Last week I put a new clutch fan, new pulleys and changed the coolant.
(The secondary alt locked up, and ripped the wires off the old fan, and tore a pulley off the block.)
