Buck 80! Wow that would be a dream come true, Just think I would be able to afford my families health care insurance, food and other cost of living expenses.
Why does this guy think it's going to be a $1.80 a gallon?

I think he was referring to Gingrich's statement about gasoline prices if he were elected. Right now, we are experiencing a spike in oil futures due to the geopolitical risk with Iranian nuclear potential. There will be a huge jump in oil futures in prelude or as a result of any armed conflict in the Middle East. - I predict Israel will launch air strikes on the Iran nuclear facilites in the April, May, or June.
Then we have China... their middle class is on the rise so keep your eye on auto sales figures in that country. Remember, there are 1.5 billion Chinese citizens on the verge of increasing their standard of living and that means buying a car. Add the one billion Indians who are also on the rise and you can see that the price of oil will be increasing due to demand...
Meanwhile, the idiot in the White House is bowing to the radical environmentalists and would rather see the US send its dollars to Middle East countries with whom we have tepid relationships and converse to domestic and offshore continental shelf production. Save for Saudi Arabia (we're friends cuz we sell 'em kick azz air planes) and Israel, the rest of 'em would rather not have our aircraft carriers cruising the Mediterranean or Indian Ocean.
