Exhaust-Aluminized

I am looking at upgrading my exhaust on the Excursion. I don't think stainless is in the cards due to price, but how durable is aluminized exhaust systems?

Aluminized will hold up fine. I chose SS due to the "outside" factors where I work. I drive down a mile of road comprised of coal ash from the power plant.

I've had an aluminized exhaust on my Excursion for about 3 years now. I live 7 miles from the beach so there is plenty of salt around here and I've had no issues with rusting. This is the one I went with: Riffraff Diesel: MBRP 4" Turbo Back Aluminized Riffraff even does free shipping on complete exhaust systems

I also live with in 10 minutes of the beach, no problems with the MBRP aluminium. It will show surface rust eventually but shouldnt rust through. My hangers are oxidized now, but the exhaust is perfectly fine.
