I made the "mistake" of taking a test drive in an Ecoboost. Now my F250 diesel is gone and I have an Ecoboost in the driveway. They are new and perform much better than you would think they should. When I tried to describe how it performs to someone at work without him having a frame of reference of driving one I felt like I was trying to explain to someone who never had sex how that feels...
Well... i just tell them, with minimal mods, my 5000 pound brick is now beating some of the new Camaros and lots of the 4.6 Mustangs! (The new 5.0 is a different story and I have only had a chance to line up against one of those!) That is usually something they under stand... or I tell them my 0-60 MPH is now down to about 4.3 seconds! Or that my little 3.5 V6 EcoBoost is pushing about 460 HP and 500 ft/lbs of TORQUE! (at the crank... 360 WHP and 400 WTQ). People can usually relate to one of those descriptions! LOL
