Ok so i took the purple/green and the blue/white put them together, turned switch, it worked. I mounted the switch tryd it, heard a couple zaps then the switch light went out.
Did I fry something or should i try and rewire it again. I pulled it all out after it did that.

What? Mr. Moderator please, what are your thoughts?
The power wire in that combination has a fuse. I don't know what number it is and I'm not sure it's in the manual, so you might have to look for a blown fuse in a slot that is marked as not used. You probably blew the fuse. You probably also need to look at how you wired the switch. If it is a lighted switch and you wired in a ground, you probably got the wrong wires on the wrong terminals.
im using a 12 volt vehicle switch. with ground, acc, and power. What would i be looking for on the fuse. I did the other tutorial. with the white/blue wire near the code reader plug in.
You're looking for a blown fuse. And you're looking at how the switch was wired. I would suspect that you wired the switch incorrectly and switched the power directly to the ground, causing a short.
No. The purple/green is the BCP circuit to the PCM. You are trying to put 12V on this wire to cause elevated idle to occur.
The white/blue is the fused power wire. Your switch should have a blade for the power wire, a blade for the ground, and a blade for the load. The load might be labelled ACC for accessory, or something else, it depends on the switch.
