Frame horns
Sure wish someone would come up with:

We need some to come up with the dimentions for length from the rivet on top of the frame to the center of the holes on the end of the horns where we know exactly how much length we need to weld on.

I've got another set here from an F-2 if you want them, their yours for shipping. click my user name and send me an Email, or Pm if you have that option.
Nice work Aaron, Those look really nice. I'm not familiar with the 53 and up smaller truck frames so not sure what the front rails looked like originally but on the F-1 Etc, the rails section get taller just befor the bumper bolt holes (flairs up) also the top portion gets wider, but it looks like your channle was wider than the frame so it could be cut to match.
That would work on a f-1 but I think the bumper may end up sitting a half inch or so lower than origianlly??
For Bobby and Bill and others welding new frame horns on I am just curious if you will clamp and or tack weld your new horns on and then get the bumper attached before welding the horns completely??
I hadn't really though about it till just now but sometimes getting a bumper back on a truck with an original frame thats never been cut can prove difficult to line up all the bumper bolt holes, I imagine you guys will attach the bumper to the rails and line it all up then weld??

Josh,
I think the frame horns showed up. I'm out of town this week but my wife said a package showed up at the house for me.
I hadn't considered how I'd get them on the truck. Thats a great idea of tackin them in place and bolting the bumper to them before welding. These are for my dad's truck. I think I have a spare front bumper I can lend/give him.
Thanks
Bobby

Again many thanks,
