fuel pump switch

Hello i need some help, i would like to do some hidden fuel pump switch, did you guys did something like it ? where i should look for wires from fuel pump eny colors of wires? and witch one is better to cut possitive and make switch on it or negative and do switch on it? i would like to do that just for more security. Any advice? wire diagram some pictures? oo btw my truck is 05 Ford Econoline E-150 chateau thx

most vehicles used an "inertia switch" to shut off the pump in the case of a wreck, so it would probably be easiest to find this switch, cut one of its wires, and wire the 2 ends of what you just cut into your switch. its probably up under the dashboard, but i haven't checked for your model. it should even be listed in the owners manual, or someone here will know.

in my opinion this would be much easier than dealing with the ground, and more reliable
