Hey guys its me again. So i blew my c6 a few days ago and started looking for a manual. I found a good deal online for a motor and tranny for $175 i got it. The motor has a bad head gasket but its just for parts. Not sure if the tranny is locked up from sitting or not i know the motor is. The guy said it is hard to get in reverse at times but that's all. Now first off what should I run thru the tranny? Some sort of anti seize oil? Then the tranny is on a 6.9 so it should bolt right up with mine correct? Does it matter what master cylinder and slave i use? Will i need drive shaft work? Answers please! Thanks again!

I wouldn't worry about the transmission being "seized." I really doubt it is. Just change the gear oil in it. And yes, it will bolt up to a 6.9 or 7.3. You'll probably need a different yoke (unless you have a transfer case behind it), not sure about the driveshaft. I believe that if you have a transfer case, all you need to do is put the t-case on the back of the new tranny. You might need an adapter, I'm really not sure.
For a master and slave, just go to the parts store and get a set for your truck. You'll also need a clutch pedal.
Since you are swapping in the manual for a C6 I assume you will be using the flywheel from the 6.9. 6.9 and 7.3 are balanced different. Supposedly according to Ford you just swap balancer along with flywheel and you are OK. You can do a search on that, 1 of the other guys on here read a paper from ford about it.
