Well i got my glowshift gauges in this past weekend. Trans temp, boost, egt and an electric fuel pressure gauge. At idle its showing about 50-52 psi. Is that not low? At WOT it drops to about 48psi and then jumps back up. I notice at WOT when it shifts, the FP usually jumps to about 68-70. Is this normal? Or is this what i am to expect since i am using an electric sending unit?
Any preferences on a mechanical gauge and housing that can go safely on my cowl?
Sounds like you need the blue spring update. As for the inconsistent readings, that seems to be how glowshift fuel pressure gauges are. Sometimes ill start up my truck and the gauge is pegged at 100 psi, 5 minutes later and it reads normal.
