68 f250 lowering w/8 lug

I have a 68 f250 w/8 lug and would like to lower it...??? How can I do this? I emailed DJM suspension and the couldn't help so I was thinking doing the basic front drop of cutting the springs but what to do with the back?

All info would help and if you have pictures of a 250 lowered please post.

Thanks!

Lowering blocks would work on the back. Put them between the axle and the springs. If you have helper springs, you can remove those also.

This is interesting indeed. how does it work, anyone have pics of before and after??

and does it "Level" the truck out? Im looking for the same thing, I think, on the 71 camper special. it will be a weekend show type driver, not a work truck.

I haven't ordered my kit yet but with the f250s the axle is under the leafs so you would have to do an axle flip before you can use blocks

True, if you used the blocks with the axle under the leafs, it would raise the truck. Was not aware of that. My F-250 had the springs under the axle, however it was a 76 2wd.

This may be an option, last week I went to Hillsboro Oregon for some bump parts. The seller also had a set of 67-72 F250 lowering beams with the Camper Special disc brake spindles and caliper brackets. He might still have them, I think his price was $400. for the set. If your interested, PM me, I'll try and find his number and ask if they're still available.
