I have already lowered my truck several inches by using drop springs in the front and cut and rewelded the rear shackle. But I want to go lower in the back, I'm thinking air bags. But how do I get around those darn leaf springs with that twin ibeam setup?
How did the front drop springs affect the wheel camber? What springs did you use and how much drop? I am really wanting to lower mine, but drop beams are expensive and I am not ready for a crown victoria IFS swap yet.
ibeams up in front and shackles and hangers will get you a 3/4 drop..
now you can also flip your hanger and you should get about 4 inches in the back...
not sure what springs you bought..but when i got some for my 93 gen 1 they lowered it by 1-2 inches..not enough...
Move your rear leaf hangers, also remove the add a leaf if you have it I don't guess you haul anything. I did one 15 years ago and at the time "Fat Man fabrications" had some good set ups.
