1964 d44 hub question
I took one side apart the other day because I had a tiny wiggle in the tire, there was no spring inside the manual hub lock. Is this normal? After I put it all together and locked the hub it seemed to engage the axle but I couldn't figure out how it did it. There's pins along the perimeter of the hub but I can't see how it locks to the axle lol. also the wiggle in the tire was from 2 big flat head screws that seem to hole the drum to the hub, kinda scary knowing that my tire is being held on by 2 screws lol.
