I found this on line, not bad. but I still have a question. the top of what they are calling the spindle in this diagram has a crown nut, a large washer and what appears to be a grease boot under the washer. the only local grease fitting seems to be under the top part of the spindle facing the back of the truck and it is a 90 degree fitting. I couldnt get any grease into either of these (L or R) Usually of that happens it means it's not a grease fitting. Am I being too cautios and should I just ram the grease in there after moving the tiny ball with a hard piece of plastic to make sure it id not frozen to the outsides of the fitting?
You're saying that you couldn't pump any grease into two of your grease zerks? You can try freeing up the ball in the center of the zerks, but if that doesn't work, just replace them.
