Stalls when warm!!!?

I got a 03 f250 6.0 with 180,000 miles on it. Has egr delete kit, new injector, icp and connector . I have no codes . I've noticed once it gets warm it will stall when it's trying to shift with rpm's in between 1 and 2000. I cant get over 40 mph when it totally warm. If it still cold I can go speed limit but once it's warm it start bucking and jerking and eventually stall. After it stalls it take 3 times of turning key on and cranking to turning key on and cranking till it start.. Then it run like crap ..anyone got any suggestions.. It's much needed and greatly appreciated

No STC fitting on an 03. Pull and check the IPR valve for trash and diagnose for an HPO leak. Also check the FICM voltage.

I missed the 03 in your first post my bad

Hopen just the Cap and or filter combo is wrong 03s dont have to many HPO problems

read this threead it shows the right and wrong caps

WRONG OIL FILTER CAP CAUSING UNFILTERED OIL TO TAKE OUT THE IPR

Since its an 03, no STC fitting as mentioned....they are on the 05's+ HPOP's

I would check FIRST oil filter and cap, the remove IPR and check screen for damaged/clogged screen as mentioned.

If FICM is good, we can rule that out.

Any recent work done?

Also when it does start acting up I hear a noise in engine compartment it's almost like a hiss/wind. Its hard to explain exactly what it sounds like. But it only happens and makes this noise when it's warm and its in the upper rpm around 1300 and 2000

And once it shifts to next gear the sound goes away till next gear. When I'm running against a wind it is horrible and I have a hard time going 40. The sound also somewhat sounds like something spinning super fast that is metal . Any clue?

Do you have a boost gauge? You might want to check your turbo boots, y-pipe, and intercooler for splits.

Since I just put new icp in they don't charge me for the one they put it. I picked it up today before I even made it out of town it started doing it again ..any thought on this. I'm calling dealership tomorrow and gonna have my words with them even tho it pry won't get me very far. All thought are welcpmed thank tou
