Twice this week a box has popped up at the top of the page ( where there is usually just advertising ) that says I have a message from a user in Hagerstown and a box to pick on to read the message. I did not open it because it may just be a virus and I know messages are not conveyed this way on FTE. Has anyone else ever seen anything like this?

Have you checked your private messages? What browser do you use? I use Firefox and have the AdBlock Plus extension installed, so I have no ads. Or it could be some type of advertisement.
Agree we need screen shot...you PM's say you have one
Okay, when it pops up again I'll do that. I checked my PM's and the only thing there was a stored message from 10/24/11. It was a message I had sent to another member. I cleared it so there are 0 messages now.
