I just bought a 2003 F250 6.0 and found that I needed to replace the rear brakes so I got new pads and new rotors and started taking everything off. One of the caliper pistons came out in about 5 pieces so I got a new caliper but couldn't get it on do to the lower pin on the caliper bracket totally frozen on both sides.
I got new caliper brackets but I'm interested in knowing if this is a common thing with Fords? I've never in 20+ years had to replace a caliper bracket let alone two.
I've done a ton of reading and this place rocks. This is my first Ford and first diesel.
