I am wanting to convert my '67/72 Highboy to power steering, and have been gathering most of the stuff... need to find the power steering pump bracket for my 300 inline. With that, and the hoses, I should have everything to do the job..
Any help you guys can be, I'd sure appreciate it...

The P/S pressure hose and the mounting brackets are specific to each type.

Sorry I've only got one left and it's a serpentine saginaw set up out of a late 80's van. I'm using that one in my 54 project.

P/S pressure hoses used with the plastic reservoir pump have a straight tube with an o-ring at the pump end. Connects to the pump using a qwik connect fitting.

* Post #2: Mike located (1) D8TZ-3C511-A at Dennis Carpenter, but post #2 was typed exactly 7 months ago (03/06/2012).
Once obsolete part numbers and their sources are posted on FTE by Mike and I, they tend to be gone within a very short time.
And, Green Sales no longer has the (2) D8TZ-3A732-B brackets that are listed in this same post. As of 10/06/2012, no Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
I found one of the 3A732-B's , new still in the box.. and will buy it today, so I guess that commits me to the plastic version.. maybe better anyway, if its smaller. ie, more room.. Once I'm committed to that bracket, I guess I will make the other one, best I can, from the Fordification parts schematic.. unless, my amigos find a donor truck in Baja.. Until recently, that was a parts graveyard paradise, but with the price of steel going up, I see trucks every week, loaded with mashed old cars..
the donor trucks are disappearing quickly..
I found, and have ordered the front mount bracket for the P/S plastic tank pump... anyone out there know where I can find the other (adjusting), bracket? need a little help here...
Thanks

Digging this one up from the grave, hopefully someone on here has what I'm looking for. I'm trying to track down power steering brackets for my '79 F250 with 300 Inline 6 (like everyone else in this thread).
Here are my questions:
Are the power steering brackets listed earlier in this thread the same for 2wd and 4x4 trucks?
These are the part numbers listed earlier by NumberDummy:
D8TZ-3A732-B .. Plastic Reservoir P/S Pump Adjusting Bracket / Obsolete / 1978/79 F100/350 300 I-6.
D8TZ-3C511-A .. Plastic Reservoir P/S Pump Support Bracket / Obsolete = No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any* / 1978/79 F100/350 300 I-6
Neither of those specify whether 2wd or 4x4. I know the steering box is different, but didn't know if the pump and brackets would be the same or not.
Does anyone have a couple good photos of their power steering brackets on a '78-79 Inline 6 truck?
I have a line on one locally, but want to make sure it doesn't have to be from a specific model beyond being a plastic pump with the 6 cylinder brackets.
Thanks, Jim

Do you have a photo of your finished setup that you'd be willing to post?
What was the benefit of going to the Saginaw pump over the 78/79 style plastic pump?
I see that FordMan75 mentioned earlier that his is a serpentine setup, is that what yours is too or are earlier models still v-belts on the Saginaw?
