Finally Registered

Hey everyone, my name is 2rooper and I own a 99 F250 7.3L w/ Manual Trans Short Bed Truck. I finally decided to register as any time I have needed info on my truck, you guys have had it and I wanted to show my support and personally thank you all for the excellent info you post here in the forum. I just went through the Cam Position Sensor Debacle and have my replacement from International coming. I have an Edge Juice and was wondering if there is any impact to that system with the new part from International? I have searched the threads but have not seen much (maybe I am not looking in the right spot). Anyhow, thanks for providing an awesome site.

Welcome Sean, the Cam Position Sensor(CPS) will not have any affect on the Edge Juice, it simply is a timing reference for the computer(PCM).

Replaced the Cam Position Sensor with the International Part, damn if it does not work as advertised, truck IS quieter, runs a hell of a lot smoother, and I am hoping to see mileage bump, so we will see. Thanks to all that have blazed this trail before me and was thoughtful enough to put their experiences here on the forum.
