I'm curious to know how long it holds up compared to an original emblem. I guess given the steps in the tutorial on how to make it yourself that it may very well be just as quality and hold up quite well. I have also seen the ones that are on eBay noted as a "cover" that you glue over the exsisting emblem. But somewhat seems a bit too tacky to my taste.
they way in the tutorial would last longer than any factory emblem... that envirotex stuff is a form of fiberglass resin... I spilled some on the cement porch at my mom's when I was 17. I'm 29. Its still there.
