I'm running headman 89300 in my 1978 bronco, but my bronco was set up for v8 I shoehorned the six in. My uncles truck 1978 ford f-150 has a six factory and the headers look like they would fit. Cliford makes a set but are pricey.
Efi manifolds are cheap, flow almost as good as a header, and dont leak and bolts don't loosen like a header. I didn't beleave it until I tried them on my truck.
As far as carb any carb from 390 cfm to 600 cfm will work.
