I don't know if the SVE mentions the fact that the DRLs do not come on while the vehicle is in Park so given the initial dealer reaction you might mention that.
I showed them the paperwork and instructions. I stood there watching the laptop, we get down to the DRL and there are 2 and only 2 options:
1: NONE
2: Low beams only
So we selected Low beams only and that is exactly what you get.
Bottom line is they were correct, there no option for Amber DRL or anything other than low beams...
You can turn on your DRL from the dash using this procedure:
"The system switches the headlamps on with a reduced output in daylight conditions.
To switch the system on:
1. Switch the ignition on.
2. Switch the lighting control to the off, or parking lamp position.
3. Disengage the parking brake.
4. Make sure the transmission selector lever is not in position P."
This describes when the DRL's will operate. If you noticed, the title to this section, "DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS (If Equipped)". The DRL's have to be activated in the SJB for this to work as described.

SJB is the small junction box, as mentioned in the Ford Bulletin (page 2 of this thread) I posted yesterday. The SJB is where the lights are controlled/programmed.
I was wondering if there is a way to keep the lights from coming on when the doors are opened or closed . I wanna run stealth at times and when I open the doors whamo every fricken light illuminates

Yes, that is called dark mode. It can be programmed via the SJB. Mostly used on police style vehicles.
