Ball Joint Replacement Help
2005 F-250 4wd FX4
I have the hub/brake rotor/caliper/caliper bracket all removed. The upper and lower ball joints are loose. The axle driver side axle shaft needs to be removed to be able to remove the loosened knuckle for ball joint replacement.
How do you remove the axle from the knuckle?
What are the parts on the knuckle and axle that I will need to replace once the axle shaft is out?
I searched this subject but did not find the answer to these questions. I thank you in advance for the helpful responses.

Knuckle seal is probably holding it in, just pry on either side between the u-joint and axle housing.
On reassembly you need to replace the knuckle seal, the o-ring on the hub assembly and probably the dust seal between the axle housing and U-joint.
