I found a guy willing to sell me a used 6.0 trans cooler. I haven't seen it. He lives a 50-60 miles from me. All he can tell me is it came out of a 2004 F250 and he thinks it was a 6.0 his brothers old truck. Something like that. And no photos yet.
But all he could tell me about it was 23inx7.5inx1.25in and I am guessing he means part # 414.FD8M04 But that # doesn't cross check with anything and it doesn't look like a Ford part #. So if any of you guys with a 6.0 cooler can tell if this sounds right I would appreciate it. I would hate to have to drive there to find out it was out of a gasser or who knows what.
That doesn't sound big enough, I'll try to get some dimensions. Sounds more like size wise a 7.3 or gas cooler, although even the V10 cooler is larger.
P/N's should be 5C3Z7A095CA or 5C3Z7A095B Size should be more square, like 24" X 24" X1.5"
Thanks guys for all the input. I think the guy I am dealing with isn't too bright. So it isn't the right one or he is looking at the p/s cooler but by looking at the photo posted it might be the V10 one. Which would be worth it for now if I could get him down to $50. If not I keep looking
Reps to who I can and some you I know I'll get the " pass them around"
Thanks
