Body emblem placement

When I was restoring my truck, I filled in all the holes where the "F350", "crew cab", and "Custom" emblems were. I was happy with the "clean" look when it all came back together.
The other day, I was cleaning my garage and found the box with the emblems. I cleaned them up and they all look great. Now I am thinking I want to put them back on. I have a good idea of where they go but I want to put them back in their exact location.
Here is how it sits now.

If someone can give me the measurements for where to place the F350 (It is a '76 so it goes on the fender not the cowel), the little crew cab emblem, and the Custom emblem on the rear box side it would be much appreciated! Perhaps some pics with a tape measure to the nearest edges so I can locate a corner of them?
Thanks for your help!

Sorry, I missed your thread when you first posted...

I've got a '76 F-250 Crew Cab. I can get the measurements for you if you still need them. I've got my badges off for repaint, but I can easily stick them in the holes and get the measurements.

Yes, I still need the measurements. If you could even measure to one of the holes for each emblem to give me a reference point, that would be much appreciated! I am on the fence about whether or not I want to drill holes or just stick them on somehow using 3M double sided tape. I'd rather stick them on but what do I fill the backside of the emblems with to give me a smooth finish to attach the tape to?

Thanks

Keep in mind that it will be hard to locate the "exact" hole location and if they filled the original holes with body filler instead of welding.... You could end up with that filler breaking out and not being covered by the emblems.

Just a thought....

Also you might be able to find them with a special small diameter magnet once you knew the approximate location.

I don't know if that area is assessable from the vent box's inside the cab?

I welded all the holes up when I was doing the body. There was extremely little filler used to smooth things over so I'm not worried about running into any issues when drilling new holes. I'd rather not drill holes but I don't know how I could mount the emblems. I need to think of something to fill in the backside of the emblems so I can attach the double sided tape. Epoxy perhaps?

I would rough the inside of the emblem with course sandpaper and then use an epoxy like JBweld.

If by any chance you are able to take the fenders off and see inside them, you should be able to see where the filler is and maybe get it out somehow. I don't know just a suggestion

I'll try and get the measurements and photos for you tomorrow. My Crew is on another ranch several miles from the one I live on.

If you welded the holes up, I wouldn't be worried about drilling new ones. You shouldn't run into any problems, especially with a sharp bit.
