Good price????

I'm looking at getting a used '03 Ex 4WD w/7.3 that possibly has bad injectors. Body/interior iaren't great but I could proly get it for $2500. Say worse case scenario and all the injectors are bad does that seem like a good price. Has approx 130K miles. I'm thinking this could be my hunting/fishing/camping truck.

I would have broken my arm getting my wallet out. Body and interior can always be fixed, same as the injectors. 4x4 2003 7.3's aren't exactly falling out of the sky anymore. Last of a legendary motor right there.

lol, I agree. They're even really hard to find in the salvage market too. I would have liked to find an early '03, but what I have will do just fine.

It seems like all the ones I did find had over 200k too.

Well not sure when it becomes more $$$$ than it's worth. A friend of mine is from the area this Ex is located and told me the previous driver is sure the injectors need to be changed. I was going to check it out on my RDO but now it's looking like it wud take 5-5500k to get it. Still a good deal in people's opinions? I know I got my '02 V10 w/180k for about that a year and a half ago

Your still debating buying this thing? Thats how you lose out on deals like this, you sit and wait and think about it while someone else is counting out the cash.

If you decide not to get it please shoot me a pm on where it is! Don't wait too long though so someone else that won't appreciate it snaps it up!

Yeah, if you don't want it let us know and quick. I would have had the truck home and the injectors out already.
