Are you talking about the one that's right above the radio? Think those are molded into the plastic. But seems I've seen someone on there that added them just can't remember what he used.
David...looking at your signiture...that is quite the impressive line up of vehicles you got listed!! Makes a ford guy envious <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

What can I say, I like Mustangs and 80-96 era Ford trucks...
I also have a 70 Chevelle and an 04 Ram 1500 to balance out the mix. Although the Ram is probably going to be sold soon, as is the 87 F250. And my cousin has the 86 F150... So my personal stable will be much smaller soon... Which is good 'cause I'm out of parking.
Oh and LMC did have the XLT emblem but it's not listed anymore so I'm assuming they're sold out.
Uh huh, but if you buy it from one of the sources I listed in post 6, you'll pay less than $34.95, it'll be a genuine Ford part, not a made in China repro.
Sometimes I wonder why I bother listing Ford part numbers, sources for NOS Ford parts, when peeps buy them from repro parts sellers instead, usually paying more for made in China crap.

I would rather pay a little more for an actual Ford part than a chinese knock-off. Don't we already support foreign factories enough already?

It's because each and every single time I've ever called any of the dealers you've listed for me, I get the typical "We don't have any of those" reply, which I usually translate to "I don't want to look for it".
It's not your fault, but some of the dealers are just plain lazy.

That really sucks but isn't surprising.
Local Ford dealer taught me how to talk to parts peeps, and correct me if I'm wrong, Bill, but I think he said to say only:
"Hi, < name of person >, source me a E0TZ-123456-A1A, please?"
Local dealer didn't have a part for my Tempo but they found me a dealer who did, but they wouldn't order it for me, I needed to do that myself.
It seems that today, most peeps don't give a damn, buy Chinese made crap, then whine about the state of the US economy.
They are blind to the fact that the trade deficit between the US and China is over THREE TRILLION DOLLARS!
Most of that money is in T-bills. If the Chinese ever cash them in, it will bankrupt the US, so you can kiss the US economy good bye...forever.
In that case, yeah, it's cheaper, which is a bonus. It's like buying a chinese made one year warranty tie rod end for 14.99 instead of getting a lifetime warranty USA made one for 19.99. Just doesn't make sense to me.

Of the 20,000 or so obsolete Ford parts I've listed here on FTE, this is the first time someone has said they have called, and all the sources say they don't have any.
Haven Ford in KS seems to have the cheapest prices. One member bought a pair of NOS telescoping mirrors for his '63 for the original marked price of $17.50 each.
Another member bought a super rare lower Race Track quarter panel moulding for a '77/79 with a tool box. Most of the Race Track mldgs have been repro'd, but not this puppy.
The moulding fits from the edge of the tool box, then up and over the wheel opening to the end of the quarter panel. Member paid the original marked price of $35.00 for the little charmer.
