Great news Roy! You are a good man for going through that and I see nothing but great joy in the future for you, Theresa and Lynn.

To: 2004 F250 The new diesels are nothing like the old ones. There is no smell unless you plant your nose in the exhaust pipe and have somebody floor it while you take a deep breath . My wife would not get out of the truck after test driving it and 1 1/2 years later we love the truck more than when we bought it.

To: Gigger. LOVE YOUR AVATAR!!!!!

Depends on what you're pulling.
Recommendation here is the lowest gear ratio (4.30 or whatever it is) based on discussions from those who own the 6.2L.

Take your wife for a diesel 6.7L test drive.
Smell the exhaust at start up and then after it is warm.
You'll notice it's a bit stronger when cold but once the engine is warm, it's difficult to notice it unless you're under something or in a small space.

When Ford engineers were visiting dealers prior to release in early 2010, there was a video of one idling inside of a dealership.
Not that you should do that in your garage but it proved this new engine was nothing like the 6.0L.

Not to mention the strong morals and ethics she's going to learn from a fantastic grandfather / dad and grandmother / mom.

Hello all of my WIH friends!!

I hope all of you have been doing great. Lots of stuff going on between work and life in general. Been to the Smokey Mountains a couple of weekends ago that ended up with us spending about six hours in the E.R. after my daughter collapsed in the shower. She's inherited her mom's migraines and had a bad one. She's fine now and all is well but she gave us a heck of a scare.

Saw Blake Shelton in concert at Thompson Boling Arena in Knoxville on September 27th and it was great! We took the kids and it's rare anymore that you can take kids to a concert without worrying about what they'll hear or see. This was one of those where there were a lot of families there with young kids and the show was great.

I've got tickets to see the Eagles in November in Greensboro, NC and we're about four rows back from the stage. That one is just for me and the wifey.

Slammed at work and now they've got me in an executive leadership program in addition to all of my regular stuff. Overwhelmed doesn't even begin to describe my life lately.

I hope all of your trucks are still doing great and everyone's still trucking along. I'm excited about the 2015 improvements to the SDs. It looks like they're making some changes to the fuel pump, injectors, and a few other things like having a manual control for the exhaust brake.

'Ya never know.
Hi John,

Good to hear from ya! Sorry about your daughter. My wife has a couple of those attacks a year. Not pleasant.

Good score on the Eagles tix. Wife and I saw them a few years ago. They are my favoritist band. If you haven't seen it yet, there is a documentary on either Showtime, Cinemax about the band and it's early years, formation, trials and tribulations, and getting back together. It's like 5 or 6 hours long. I hope they get close again, I would love to see them again.

Good luck with the work load. I feel your pain! I'm sure your super feels that you are up to the task tho. I bet they're right.

Hi John,
Sorry to hear about your daughter, I hope that doesn't happen again, that sounds like scary stuff.
I like the sound of the executive leadership program....I hope you get promoted.....less work and more pay.

Have fun at the Eagles concert.

Yeah I saw that documentry and it remimded me of all the great memories I have from Jr. High school. I called the local radio station here when they were giving out ticketrs for their concert in L.A. for the Jan. 17th or 18th re-opening The Forum and I missed it by being the third caller before the winner. I am waiting for the next giveaway.

Hey John, If you can wait till the 2015 come out you'll have a bigger turbo without the wastegate and the F-450 gets a beefed up frame. That is what I heard so far. Anyone have more news on the Torque or HP?
