I have a Generac GP5500.
Nice little generator and it keeps 60hz without a problem even over distance with a correct gauge extension cord.
I wish it was a bit quieter though.
I figure I'll need it when hundreds of megawatts of coal plants begin to go offline for good.

I can say generac is very good quality. There only draw back is there loud. But when you dont have electricity. Thats just music to your ears.
