What did I miss? I see your sig and your avatar and have to ask...

1. What happened to the 2011?
2. How do you like the Dodge?

Sounds like a great day!

I like little trips here and there but I like them better when it's warm out.

Good Morning WIH truckers, Sounds like it is going to be a nice pre-spring day around here today, temps near 60 predicted.

Well it Happened I'm driving a Ford Bucket Truck at work for a few days. I'm not sure what engine it has in it but sounds kind of cool when you put your foot in it. It's very plain on the inside but at least it is a Ford.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Am I still allowed in here?
J/K
I've been drivin gthe new C-Max to work for the last month and I have to say I really like it. I use about 4 gallons of fuel a week (compared to 11-ish in the truck). It saves me about $26/ week.

Still, our friends are giving me a hard time telling me the truck is 'hers' now. They keep threatening to put a pink Browning deer on the back window... and pink cammo seat covers.

Of course you're still welcome in here.

Hey, let them have their fun. Just let them know that loud laughter they hear when they're filling their vehicles at the gas station is you giggling as you drive past all of them.

I figured I wouldn't be asked to leave... well, not for this reason. Most people, once they discover the car is a hybrid, accuse me of being some liberal, granola eating hippie. It wasn't an environmental decision, it was purely financial. And it's a Ford.
Still, there's something satisfying about the way people will get out of your way when you're driving a SD. I kinda miss that. My wife has informed me that I will be driving the truck when we pull the camper. Also when we go to the beach, which will be happening in another month or so... That's a lot of fun.

Except when you don't put the truck into 4WD before hitting the sand

Luckily, my buddy (in the Dodge) pulled me out, though I still get a lot of ribbing over that brain fart.

Getting there. To do the fronts I'm having to pull the grille and headlights to access the front wheel wells, because somehow my OEM fender bolts have heads snapped off, so I'm just going to replace it with 1/4" stainless steel bolts, but I have to be able to get to the inside to hold on to the nut!

Make the roof Black and put a "Bubble Gum" Police light on top......

You mean drunk and broke? Those days are way behind me. The money I save driving the car is going to help finance some of my camping habit this summer.
