So far, it's not too bad. Only thing I'm noticing is that it surges and lurches in 3rd gear a little bit. The thing I'm not sure about is whether it's the same problem starting to show itself or if it's the torque converter locking up. I've only got about 350 miles on it since the repairs so I'm waiting to see how it is after about 1,000 - 1,500 miles.

Mine does "cut out" once it's in third when it's cold.
I'll shift to third and it could happen then or it could happen seconds later when I request more speed.
It's as if I turned the engine off/on within a second.
I might bring up this issue if I'm in for something else someday but for now it's not that bad.
Nothing like the bad solenoids.
Ford is a month away from three years.
I won't hold my breath and I grew tired of taking my truck in so I'm just going to drive and enjoy it for now.
With the noises my turbo makes now (sometimes), I figure it won't make it to 100,000 so as long as everything fails before my ESP runs out, all will be good.
Well it's looking like we'll be getting the snow after all. Even though they predicted a lot, I didn't expect much....weather people are like lawyers and used car salesmen.
Anyhoo, there's nothing like a case of the lung clap to start the morning off right.
