Hello all!

Well it's Tamilflu, an antibiotic, and plenty of bed rest until Monday.......it sucks to be sick.

I hope all of you are having a great day. Plenty of rain here and we're supposed to be getting some snow tonight. I can't wait for summer.

So far, it's not too bad. Only thing I'm noticing is that it surges and lurches in 3rd gear a little bit. The thing I'm not sure about is whether it's the same problem starting to show itself or if it's the torque converter locking up. I've only got about 350 miles on it since the repairs so I'm waiting to see how it is after about 1,000 - 1,500 miles.

Good plan, document every thing I guess, unless it acts up all the time..........I hate when things aren't perfect....

Might be time to have H&S take a crack at the transmission tuning...

Mine does "cut out" once it's in third when it's cold.
I'll shift to third and it could happen then or it could happen seconds later when I request more speed.
It's as if I turned the engine off/on within a second.

I might bring up this issue if I'm in for something else someday but for now it's not that bad.
Nothing like the bad solenoids.

Ford is a month away from three years.
I won't hold my breath and I grew tired of taking my truck in so I'm just going to drive and enjoy it for now.
With the noises my turbo makes now (sometimes), I figure it won't make it to 100,000 so as long as everything fails before my ESP runs out, all will be good.

I'm just going drive it for now and see how it does. I've got the ESP on mine as well so if something goes, it's on them except for the deductible.

We're supposed to be getting about a foot of snow tomorrow so she'll be in 4WD a lot.
