Guys, we all know my wife monitors my every move so we can't tell her it's for beer........
We do have a well but we just use it for watering the lawn and plants etc. The water is a bit dirty and smells like sulphur. The kids play in it so it's not that bad. We used to use it for the toilet but my wife didn't like the bathroom to smell
Soooo we have 1200 gal cistern underground that feeds the house. Undergraound so it doesn't freeze. As far as hauling in the winter, I fill up at home cuz we are spoiled and need soft water so 350 gal is not going to freeze in an hour. BUT I need to remember to park on a bown slope (back into the driveway) so the bit that is left in the bottom doesn't freeze the outlet valve. Or else I gotta take the thing out and put it in the garage. Or I just call the water dude and give him $130.00 for $10.00 worth of water. Either works

Hell.....I have to take 135 gals extra with me camping.....for a F.... weekend...........
Wait.....No FB anymore........
I have two 30 gal tanks and it takes long enough to fill those with a residential water spigot.
How long does it take you to fill that tank at home?
Exactly 40 minutes (we have 3/4" supply and pretty good pressure) which is about how long it takes us to get our chit together, gather up some food and kids etc. I just set the timer on my phone and we do our thing.
There actually is a commercial filling station only 5 blocks from my house but we are too spoiled, we like soft water and have a softener on the home system.
I got the water dude to fill us up in the summer because the hot tub needed to be filled too and my wife didn't like the hard water. Guess she doesn't remember the first 20 years of her life that she didn't have running water at all
