Boxing the front frame

Is there any need or benefit to boxing the front frame rails if your using the stock front suspension & axle on a '48 F-3? I will be changing the engine/trans to a 351W with AOD trans.

No. The frame will be fine, especially since it's an F-3 which has a thicker frame than an F-1 but if you have any thoughts of changing to an IFS in the future I'd box it now...
