Fuel Pump Fitting
Hey, guys... I have a Carter pump I robbed the front fitting off of. It's the fitting with the 5/16" quick-connect on one end and the male threads on the other. Thing is, the Carter used 3/8 x 24 threads and the OEM Bosch uses 10m x 1.0 threads. The metric is really tight, but I think I can thread it in there if I'm careful. Either way, have any of you guys got a junk pump, maybe even a Carter that has a fitting you'd be willing to part with? I'm building a fuel bowl delete for a buddy's OBS... the Carter is a good pump, but noisy as heck so I don't mind giving it to him. Thanks, guys!
