E-Fan high low setting, thermostat range
Got my cont. solenoid this week and going finish putting in e-fan this weekend. Just wondering what I should set the high and low temp. settings at and what range thermostat range I should got. Also taking suggestions on what brand thermostat to get and where to buy. Thanks.

A little experimenting is probably in order.
I like my vehicles to run a little cool for the track, but everyone has a preference. The E-fan isn't going to be completely accurate for a number of reasons, but I would think you should set the low speed in the range of the mechanical thermostat and the high speed say 10-15 degrees higher. So if you put in a 195* mechanical high speed would kick on about 210.
But you are going to have to drive it and adjust as needed.

Must have posted at the same time-2 speed out of a 98 lincoln. How about this from autozone, would like to get one from local parts store if possible. Would get one off the internet if a much better product.

Found this but I would rather have fail safe protection. 180 seems to be correct for low setting, thanks. What do you think of the two?
