rear back up camera

I have a 2010 lariat screw with 21k miles and the back up camera displays in the rear view mirror. for first two years it has worked day and night but here lately it only works during the daylight hours, any suggestions or will this be dealer only.

Are your backup lights working...if they arent and you are in low light or no light conditions the red tail/brake lights dont give much light and difficult to see.
Just a thought to check....

Ken brings up a good question. Otherwise, it sounds like a trip to the dealer.

If the truck is still under warranty, Ford will fix whatever is wrong free of charge, whether it be backup lights, camera or both.

well i will check if the lights are working but i hate to go to dealer they act like its an act of congress to even look at it
