So this week I got an Edge Cts and those things are sweet. I'm really enjoying it. I got the Egt probe, and Fuel pressure senser. Talk about an easy install. Anyways back to my title. Tonight I went out on some open flat blacktop I wanted to see what my 0-60 and 1/4 mile times were. My 0-60 was 7.5 sec and my 1/4 mile was 13.3 @94mph. I don't know how accurate this thing is but that kind of blew my mind. I'm running a Innovative Extreme street tune with stock sticks and Turbo and studs. Pretty crazy I thought. Apparently I need to set the rev limiter around 4,000 because it revved to 4420 before it shifted to 5th and locked up. I don't make a habit out of tearing the crap out of this thing but I wanted to see what it would do...once. Not bad for a 4 ton work truck with 293,000 miles. Just thought some of you guys that are tuned might enjoy this.
Thats a really quick 1/4 mile time for a tuned cc 4x4 6.0 normally u see between 13.8 and 14.6 on sct tunes, never ran edge but if its 13.3 i might change my mind lol!
Just had mine weighted today while buying gravel. 8280 with me in it, I had just filled the tank and I weight about 250. I was shocked at how much these things weight. My truck is untuned and it can 0-60 in 8.9 seconds according to my edge cs.
I was 7420 (or 7240 don't remember) with me in it and half tank of gas the other day at the dump but that scale could have been wrong as they only weigh for the difference between full and empty.
I set the meigh in motion off on the freeway about a month ago, dunno how it works but I had 2k in salt apx 700 in winter weight misc. stuff me and another guy in the trk. No I didnt stop.
My CCSB runs 14.4x @ right around 92 mph weighing 7925, so I'd have to say that 13.3 is a very generous e.t. for a 94 mph trap speed. But yes, they do get down the road tuned
