Hey I am having this problem and can't figure it out.
Well I will start here it is making a grinding/ rubbing noise. I ain't sure what it is. I replace the bearing assblemy about 3 months ago. An this past week I just replace all the the seals, u-joint, ball joints, and the shaft in the bearing assblemy. It don't make the sound when the hub is lock in thought I am stubbed. The bearings look good to me. If any one could help me I would really appericate it.
I would take off the hub lock and take it for a quick ride. Eliminate the possiblity of a busted hub lock or confirm that it is the hub lock. Worth a try.
The hub lock is fine I replaced the about 6 months ago and just had it ripped apart and they look fine it only makes it when the hubs are in the free position
I would still give it a try. It will take about 10 minutes total and its free... With the amount of parts you have already replaced it is tough to imagine what else it could be.
