timing chain cover problems

hi everybody,i just purchased a 2006 ford expedition its had numerous problems the timing chains and cam shaft position sensor was replaced but when i finally got my suv back the check engine light was still on and now when i drive about 10 to 15 miles i hit the accelerator and it feels like its going to stall out i was told from the dealership i got it from that the timing chain cover was bad and it needs to be replaced now does this sound like it could be whats really wrong with it? please any shared knowledge would be much appreciated thank you.after having the camshaft sensor replaced i took my vehicle to auto zone and the same code popped up it say it has a defective camshaft sensor
