I removed the EGR from my truck about 2 months ago. using the RCD EGR delete kit. As part of installing the kit there was a steel plate and gasket bolted to a flexible stainless steel exhaust line which fed into the EGR.
Immediately after installing the kit I noticed a rattle. I assumed it was from that flexible lines movement. Now 2 months later I'm experiencing a louder sound and also a hissing sound.
My question is, are these two related and if so what is the solution?
Can this flexible line also be deleted?
