Warranty Number: F75EUC59405

F75 = F750 (gas).

E = 361 2V FT engine.

U = Louisville KY Assembly Plant.

C59405 = 1968.
----------
156" Wheelbase.

COLOR: Blank.*

MODEL: F759 = F750 (gas); 28000 lbs. GVWR

BODY: 4 81: 4 = Charcoal Black Crush Vinyl & Charcoal Black Ladder Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.

TRANS: M = Clark model 285V 5 Speed Direct.

AXLE: - - D: - - = 1st two digits is the rear axle code, but there aren't any, as the rear axle was a DSO // D = Ford-Rockwell/Timken 7,000 lbs. Capacity Front Axle.
----------
MAX GVW LBS: 28000 = 28,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

182 net HP @ 3,800 RPM

830007:

83 = Sold to the US Government.

0007 = Domestic Special Order number, truck ordered special by the original purchaser, not "bought off the lot."
----------
*No COLOR code stamped on the Warranty Plate, truck painted a non standard color per the original purchasers order, making it a Domestic Special Order.

Domestic Special Order rear axle installed (it was not an RPO - Regular Production Order). You'll have to do some detective work to ID it, because the DSO records were discarded years ago.

But it's not a factory Ford color, it was specified by whatever gov't agency ordered the truck.

If it was a factory color, there would be a COLOR code, either C = Pure White or M = Wimbledon White.

These were the only factory white colors offered for 1964/79 trucks.
