Vin decoded

Hello everyone I have a old Ford dump truck that I'm trying to find out the year of. Does anyone know how to decode it or where I can go to find out. I tried looking it up on google but it seems to always want to send me to a light duty truck vin decoder and mines not coming up. The vin is F70EV056079 I also attached a picture of the plate in the drivers door. Thanks in advance for any help!

Welcome to FTE! The year is in the last six characters of the V.I.N. Yours appears to be Q56079 which I can only tell you is a much later truck than the 61-66 years. The letter as the first character in the serial number (the last six characters of the V.I.N.) started in 1967. You may wish to post in the large truck forum on FTE.

Geez Louise: This is the THIRD time you posted this VIN on FTE today.

I decoded it in your specific thread in the LARGE TRUCK forum.

Short answer for those chiming in: 1973 F700 w/a 361 2V FT engine assembled at the KY truck plant.
