specific specs??
i was told there is some way to get the specific specs for MY truck using the VIN number? a buddy of mine said i could email some ford link my vin and they would email me all the specs for my personal truck with how it came from factory... is this true and if so does anyone know the link or contact info?

What you are looking for is called a "build sheet". I called Ford and asked. 800-392-FORD They snail mailed it to me in a few days.
There is also an online link to get a PDF of your original dealers window sticker. But lately it only works for trucks 2-3 years old.
