It's a cleveland for sure, the canted (angled) valves obvious by the splayed pushrods a dead giveaway but a 351C not a 351m-400. X2 on the 4V- they are some big ports!!
I took a copy of that first picture and taken from the side looking at the right side head on the block, the bolts are all in, but I swear it looks like that head is not on the block right. It's slid down towards the rear ... it look's to be off.
I think he's put it together without all the lineup sleeves.
I see that too. Also see that he had problems sealing the headers or manifolds too. Also seems odd that the one head is unpainted, that could be an indicator that it was pulled, worked on (or replaced) and bolted back on while the engine was in the vehicle. The #7 intake port is rusty too, where the others are not. Buyer beware.
I talked to the seller, too many things with this engine to keep me from buying it.When he told me the pistons need to be ground so they dont hit the spark plugs, the conversation pretty much ended.
The 351m/400 block have elongate cast part at the right side of the distibutor and the 351c is flat with the block. It's a 351 c with 4v head look at the top of head stamp 4 with a dot and the huge port. Also they are open chamber just by looking at the front right base of the head, it doesn't have the 3 notch at the base of the head. 1 notch open chamber, 3 notch closed chamber. I see 1 notch at 3/4 right side base of head on the last pic.
Also the unpaint head, like baddad457 said, could be the one with the piston to be ground or shave ?
Sedly try to ask for a pic of the casting # of both heads and casting # of the block.
