Lift kit question

Hey guys, first thread here.

I have a 87 f-150 4x4 ttb with a 302 on 3'' blocks and 33'' tires.

I'm looking to remove the body lift and get a super lift 4'' suspension kit with the radius arms. I was wondering if I'll need a longer driveshaft and which brand of shock absorbers to go with?

You won't need a longer driveshaft until you get into 6" + of lift so your good.

I was just looking at the Superlift systems, they both have shock absorbers included in the lift unless your buying from third party? idk.

I've heard some absorbers that come with lift kits are garbage so I was just hoping I could catch a few trusted brands to research

Well im not an expert on shocks but here's a little read:

Shock Absorbers, Off Road Shock Absorbers, Truck Shock Absorbers

I would get a nitro shock not a gas one, specifically with a large bore for the lift.

Rancho is a popular make IMHO.

i agree with nick, are planning on keeping those tires or are you wanting to put bigger ones on or what? but far as shocks go its all in how much you wanna spend and hunting down the good stuff here and there
