My 05 PSD died while driving and wont start...been searching around for couple hours and find most point to HPO leak which may be since i only have .24 volts off ICP. Tried pullind ICP and still no start. The thing gets me is i dont have any low oil pressure registering on dash gauge? I pulled upper filter and it fill with oil while cranking. FICM was replaced last year and i pulled OASIS and it doesnt show any HPO part replaced in past. I know the air trick and ill go after HPO leak but whats up with no dash gauge pressure?
thanks brickie,i did pull the upper oil filter and bowl does fill with oil when cranked.....i have dummy plugs, stand pipes and stc fitting sitting in front of me just wondering which to tackle first. wish i had a fitting to air test handy.
also,if the stc is destroyed should i be able to see oil running down rear of motor? only oil i see is down in the valley drivers side and thats not much.

You dont want to see that oil running down the Back of the Moter
If the STC fitting blew out hard emough to crack the rear cover the engines coming out
Is the oil from the valley coming from one of the sensors by the oil filter that oil pressure one sometimes goes out
guess thats it, parts in hand, into truck they go.....i have actually had some hard start when warm issues but never a no start. thanks guys maybe this will turn into a EGR delete as well while were at it. cheers Adam...

AAA is the best thing you can buy for your truck (sad to say, but I mean it for all the right reasons.) With discounts at some places I shop, and the number of times I used it to get a flat bed tow to my house or to the shop it alwaysalwaysalways pays for itself every year.
i was only a mile from home so had buddy pull me home. pulled out HPOP and stc looked ok,still faily tight. the IPR valve screen and oriface o ring stayed in pump when i removed it. oring and screen look bad. so i hope thats it.
