IPR O-Ring Question

I had my IPR out and found the first o-ring on the end was split so I replaced it with a hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) o-ring I had in the garage. These are supposed to have a high tensile strength and withstand high temps. Can anyone tell me how much trouble I may have caused myself? Thanks very much, George.

Man everytime I need an oring I can never find the exact size I have to make a run to FORD

Was the oring you used oil resistant?? and exact size and same thickness??

Does the truck not run now???

Can you watch ICP & IPR% to see if its bleeding by your oring

Benny, thanks for the response. It fit and everything seems okay. I'm just don't want a future problem. I got them from Harbor Freight and while the box makes no mention of oil it does say "more resistant to chemicals than most orings?
